Cherry, neither. They're lightweight, I don't know what. They remind me of paper mache. The lettuce looks like stiffened (shellaced) material. Does that make sense?! It is cute, but I know you could do a better job! Mayergirl, thanks, it's like I thought, just like a real violin, if you don't have the strings just right, the bridge will go flying. Great tip, if I keep it, I'll glue it!

We bought both of those shirts also! DD liked them both and was a super big hit at school when she wore the Club shirt yesterday. We also bought the sweatshirt and it is nice and heavy but the color looked different than on the website, kind of purple instead of what I thought would be a bright blue.

So the colors are a kind of purple with red stitching .
Also the transfers are the same as the Mystery Tee so I'm not sure we will keep it. DD loves it though so I'm glad it was a code purchase.

Youngest DD has been helping me plan a surprise party for her big sister this Saturday. She saw Mama in front of the computer coding and coding and coding from 3-29 through 3-31. She's been saving her money since Christmas. She changes her mind daily about what she's going to buy with her money. Ever since she found out we were going to Chicago, she's even figuring the tax and not the shipping amount. She finally asked me if I would buy her the horse lover outfit, cause it would be a whole lot cheaper with the $10.00 off ya know, and I'll give you the money as soon as it comes! How could I say no, she's been saving every penny since Christmas! It came today, she's going to love it. I'll try to not duplicate the reviews, here goes......

Club T-shirt-Very nice quality. Double stiched around arms, neck and bottom. Heavy duty transer. Looks like this one will last! A+

Mystery party T-shirt-Same quality shirt as above, BUT has those chintzy (IMO) transfers that tend to come off after 1 washing. We've had that happen with Disney shirts. B-
Will let you know after I wash, if transfers are ok.

Posie-Was expecting her to be like Sombrita, very heavy, was surpised how light she was. I still give her a B since she's so darn cute.

Flute Set-Love this one! High quality, don't know about play value, but very nice set! A+

Addy's gardening supplies- Didn't know I'd have to put the hoe together, but they give instructions to just put a dab of glue and shove the hoe onto the handle. Vegetables are all the right colors! Love AG food. A

Club sport bag- Nice quality. Has a zip mesh bag inside that you could store accessories without fear of losing. Doll could fit in if sitting. We'd take these to Chicago, but it has a drawstring top and I would still feel better if the dolls were completely enclosed. Love the embroidered AG Club logo. A

Josefinas nightime necessities-Basin was a little larger than I thought it would be. Love the heavy candlestick. Memory box is beautifully carved, the trinkets inside are nice especially the tiny thimble. I did a double take on the candle though. It looked like, ahem, part of a male anatomy. A

Molly's route 66 outfit--Seen many reviews before, but worth repeating, Beautiful!! The detail and tiny buttons are gorgeous! A++

Violin set--Was a little disappointed with this. I don't know if we'll keep this or not. I'll have to play around with it. The strings are loose, the bridge looks mighty flimsy to me. There is glue or some other substance on the neck of it. If we keep, I'll exchange in Chicago. B

Samantha's bridesmaid accessories-The cake is enormous!! The flowers didn't travel well, pretty smooshed. Love the mirror and hairbrush. B-
Have another round of coded items coming tomorrow.

What are Addy's veggies made out of now? I have a PM set which are all ceramic and nicely painted. Are the current veggies ceramic or rubbery?

I have the violin set and I love it. The bridge is really flimsy, however, so mine did break. Interestingly enough, the wood didn't break, so if you just fiddle with it, it stays in place as long as the strings are tight. Since my dolls can't actually play it without my help...it works. If you want it to not break, I'd recommend putting a dab of glue on either side where the bridge attaches to the body of the violin.

Thanks for the reviews! Now I must have the AG flute. Adding that to my list.
